ZIONWORKS NEWS JANUARY 16, 2023

IS ZION A RISK?

Dear Saints and all people God calls His People,

It is 11:32 pm Monday as I begin writing this newsletter. I have been praying and searching scripture most of the day. I just freshened up with a short walk out here in the countryside and the stars are out. Mars is shining red in the western sky. It’s awesome to stand in the midst of eternity! Powerful! Powerfully worshipful! That awesome experience is still with me as I pray for God’s directions as to what to say.

It is probably reasonable to say that, yes, embarking on an adventure as huge as Zion is a huge risk to be considered. Count the cost. It will cost you your entire self. Once you decide to take off, like flying an aircraft, you must maintain airspeed or you will crash. So. Why do people fly airplanes? Some for the thrill of it, some to get to their destination, knowing the risks and knowing how to mitigate them. During the course of the last several years, and especially over the past eighteen months, the Lord has guided me, and at times spoken to me, about a fresh, alive message of the urgency of Zion. This is the age-old message made alive and relevant among us right now, during these snowballing world and national disasters perpetrated by hellish principalities and associated enemies of God. We see these disasters and who-knows-what-next approaching our own once-safe communities and wonder if we will survive. The scriptures and God’s message over centuries direct us to the establishment of a means, within the church and among all who long for the kingdom, to come together, work cooperatively and strengthen and encourage each other to live through these times. Among the relatively small number that have responded to Zionworks’ invitation, there has been great outpouring of spirit-filled fellowship and incredible determination and energy to live Zion. We are growing with quality people. This takes time, dedication and hard work for its members. It involves personal risk of loss of friends and relationships, even of rumor and slander. And there is justifiable fear and risk of loss of one’s possessions and funds when getting involved in a group who dedicate all of their resources in covenant to “build up the New Jerusalem.” (D&C 42:10c) It takes time and certainty of Christ’s direction before any reasonable person would engage in this enterprise. Extreme prayer and understanding of scripture are vital for direction. Only when a person is moved by the Spirit, sound logic and responsible determination will this cooperative effort be successful for the individual or beneficial for Zion. Despite the risks, God’s promises are sure. The return on investment is awesome, even in these early stages!

God gives today, and for today, the living message: get out of Babylon. He wants His people to thrive by living by celestial principles, independent of and safe from the treachery overcoming the world. The church of the everlasting gospel restored is specifically commissioned and instructed to establish and provide both spiritual and physical hands-on means of survival through these tribulations. Zionworks hears and responds to this commission with earnest endeavors to obey and apply these instructions by working to establish a growing community of people who cooperatively produce their own food and all necessities for safe and happy living.

I saw a headline today. If you are familiar with the de-population agenda, you won’t be surprised, ”The U.S. Meat Supply Will Soon Be Widely Infected With mRNA Spike Protein Weapons.” Are we ready? D&C42:12c states, “And whosoever among you are sick and have not faith to be healed but believe, shall be nourished with all tenderness with herbs and mild food, and that NOT BY THE HAND OF THE ENEMY.” This implies that, (1) we should be able to discern the enemy and (2) we must not obtain our food from the enemy. The message to come out of Babylon and be not partakers of her plagues is ever valid and more urgent. The Zionworks Preparedness Guide is composed entirely from scripture and resourceful survival information. That’s why it is mentioned in each of our newsletters. It is a tremendous resource. If you don’t have one, ask for it. It’s free.
