ZIONWORKS NEWS JANUARY 18, 2023

EVENT UPDATE AND SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

This edition of Zionworks news is following the last one by only two days, as there was a schedule conflict that made it look like we wouldn’t be able to have this coming Sunday’s meeting. That conflict has been resolved, so I want to get this notification about the meeting to you immediately, accompanied by a few comments. Consider this next week’s issue. The next Zionworks News is scheduled to go out on January 30th.

The spiritual journey we've been on in our mutual endeavors and each of the blessings we've had have always been fresh and exciting to my mind and soul and have surprised me when they have happened. Though there will probably be some setbacks and situations that will be difficult for us to get through as we progress, that's OK. We must keep our focus on Jesus and maintain our commitments and determination. When we do things according to scripture and Jesus' guidance, I believe he ALWAYS gets us through it and into a brighter day in a way that was not humanly possible. We've seen it happen. I don't sense any impending disasters for us that would come from without or within, but the idea struck me to mention and reinforce us anyway.

Bob Moore's presentation and our interaction with him was, to me, one of those fresh and exciting experiences. Our day with Bishop Kevin Romer was another of those highlights. Our sincere prayers for each other and for other's spiritual and physical welfare have always lifted me above. Your enthusiastic dedication to the Lord has become a highlight in my life. It is good to be among a group that free each other to be themselves and continue to express themselves and grow, as only God can do with them, without imposing upon them any human-conceived standards.

Taking joy and comfort in this condition among us and knowing that we must pray for guidance at least as much as ever, it is expedient to move ahead with seriously getting ourselves and the church independent of Babylon and into living, eating and breathing in The Kingdom. Someone must set the example; someone must demonstrate Zion in action. What less than that does Jesus want from us?

SCHEDULE AND EVENTS

THIS COMING SATURDAY, January 21st----LONG TERM FOOD PRESERVATION CLASS involving all types of food and storage methods. Also, GRAIN MILLING with various mills. This will be held at Saint’s Haven Restoration Branch, 300 Chicago Ave., Sibley, in the basement at 2:00 pm. This will be an excellent, info-packed class and demonstration with lots of equipment and real food. So that each of us can have an information and instruction packet, contact Kathy Williams at 816 510 1380 or kjwliahona@gmail.com . (This is a correction for the mail address previously posted.) Consider reimbursing Kathy for the printing cost.

ZIONWORKS MEETING, THIS COMING SUNDAY, January 22nd, 2:00 pm at Central Branch of The Restoration Church of Jesus Christ, 919 S. Delaware, Independence. On the agenda is getting back to maintaining healthy, wholesome and productive living during desperate times. God has reinforced us spiritually in many ways and now we must hear and obey him and work harder than before to ensure we have the tangible means of thriving off-grid operating for His People as a life style.

ZIONIC HOME FINANCING AND DEBT RELIEF PRESENTATION by Gary Metzger. Another responsible and resourceful Zionic endeavor. This will be at the January 29th Zionworks meeting at 2:00 at Atherton Restoration Branch, 4910 N. Main St., Atherton
