Dear Saints,  

Yesterday evening I had the opportunity to speak with Brother Ballantyne by telephone. He asked me to share the following information with you.  

Brother Mike has had immune issues for a number of years. Because he knows the difficulties with that, he felt that he ought to be tested for the corona-virus. Through his doctor, arrangements were for made for him to the tested March 30th in the evening. It was done in a drive through setting at one of the local hospitals.  

His results came back the next morning, March 31st, showing he was positive. Again with the assistance of the physicians he was prescribed the medicine hydroxyghloroquine which has just been tentatively approved by the FDA for the use with this terrible virus. He began taking the medicine last night and understands that he will take it for ten days.  

He told me that he was ill, but in his opinion not severely so. He told me to tell you to be not overly concerned for his health. He said to not be afraid, the Lord is in charge. He told me more than once to tell you to not be afraid.  

He is in isolation in a small apartment attached to their home.

His family is in isolation in the main part of their home.  

I will do my best to keep you updated every few days or as necessary.  

This is from me, Lyle. Please do not try and telephone Mike. Even a short conversation can be tiring. You can send cards to him and the family, and you can pray. Do not send food to the family. Special arrangements will have to be made to do this safely.  AGAIN, THE IMPORTANT THING THAT WE CAN DO NOW IS PRAY FOR THEM.
