Apostle Charles Hield wrote these words:
"Easter is not about new bonnets, rabbits, baby chicks hatched to life from their shells, not about flowers. Easter to the true Christian is a time for contemplation of the purpose and the real goals of life. The truth about the resurrection should cause us to be so grateful for the love of God and His Son that we seek anew to fulfill God's real purpose of life for us. We see in the Master an example of the extent that a real son (or daughter) of God will go to further the purposes of right living. Christ suffered, not because God wished it, but because we are what we are--coming so short of our destiny. Jesus calls us to a way of commitment, a way of involvement to right living. No pain nor trial must stand in the way of serving others."
