Dear brothers and sisters in the Restored Gospel of 1830,
BACKGROUND: As some of you may have heard, there has been a call for a Solemn Assembly from the Lord. The message has been unanimously brought by the Conference of Restoration Elders (CRE) Coordinating Council. The call for preparation for the Solemn Assembly includes repentance in much prayer before we meet together, no matter which fracture of the Restoration we come from, to come together in both individual and corporate repentance. The Solemn Assembly is currently scheduled for September 27th.
INVITATION: Are you a shepherd or one who has yet to learn about the Solemn Assembly? There is a pre-Solemn Assembly informational meeting scheduled for the leaders/shepherds of the many different fractures of the Restoration, to come and hear the testimony, learn about the purpose of the Solemn Assembly, obtain resources to share with your flock, should you choose, and to ask informational and clarifying questions.
WHEN: August 9th at 3pm (pre-Solemn Assembly informational meeting)
WHERE: Outreach Restoration Branch – 723 S. Crylser Ave, Independence, MO 64052 (building used by permission for the informational meeting)
MESSAGE: The world is changing and many dark forces are at work. More than ever, we need to share hope and light of Christ and stand in the POWER to which we have been called. In order to be equipped for this challenge, we need God’s Holy Spirit LIVING in us in a mighty way and we recognize the need for the Lord to help us cleanse our lives. The Lord is calling His believers in the Restored Gospel of 1830 to come together in prayer. The 2nd chapter of Joel is an end-times prophecy for all saints to come together in a Solemn Assembly for the purposes of repenting before our Lord and seeking His forgiveness and protection. Please consider attending this pre-Solemn Assembly informational meeting to discern God’s Spirit and calling. All are called and welcome!
