Updated schedule for Restoration Women's Council Fall Retreat
Restoration Women’s Fall Retreat - Modified Schedule - September 19, 2020
In light of the concerns and restrictions placed due to Covid-19, the Women’s Council has decided to modify the fall retreat. We are going to a one-day retreat, instead of a two-day. We plan to hold everything in the open Tabernacle across from the dining hall. This way we can allow for proper social distancing and be out in the open air. Masks will be required due to Lafayette Health Department recommendations for group gatherings. The classes will be live streamed via our Restoration Women’s Facebook page, as well as being recorded.
8:30-9:00 a.m. Registration
9:00-9:30 a.m. Welcome, Introductions, Hymn Sing, Devotions
9:30-10:30 a.m. Class #1 - Cara Smith
10:30-10:45 a.m. Break
10:45 a.m. Special Music
10:50-11:50 a.m. Class #2 - Zoey Gard
12 noon - 1 p.m. Lunch (on own) - Please plan on bringing your own lunch and snacks. There are also several fast food places in Odessa (about 10 minutes from the campgrounds).
1:00-3:15 p.m. Afternoon activities: include creating lap blankets, friendship bags, and canvas paintings which we will share with those in need.
3:30-5 p.m. Final service
5 p.m. Dismiss to go home
Cost: In order to cover the cost of using the campgrounds, we are asking $5 per person.
