Harold Ray Edwards, Sr., 81, of Independence, Mo. passed away December 10, 2021 at home.
Services will be Friday, December 17, 2pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery afterwards with military honors. Friends may call at 1pm at Floral Hills.

Harold was born June 26, 1940 in Heflin, Cleburne County, Alabama to Reba Orell Chaffin and Cecil Stephen Edwards.
He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in both Pakistan, and Kinchloe Air Force Base in Michigan.
On September 29, 1962 he married Phyllis Jean McLaughlin and they were married a little over 59 years.
Harold was a journeyman plumber with Local #8 for over 55 years.
He enjoyed reading and watching Westerns, country music, going for drives in the country, and spending time with his family, friends, and especially grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother Reba Edwards, father Cecil Edwards, a baby brother, and sister Sarah Noland.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Edwards,
