IIAW/Unity Center Volunteer Reminders, Events, and News
Hello, Initiative and Unity Center Friends,
Neighborhood Clean Up is tomorrow, Saturday, July 9th, 8-10am, Unity Center parking lot, 803 W. 23rd Street.
We will be doing litter patrol along 23rd between Crysler and Noland Road. We will also use a few volunteers to clean the Unity Center. Dress for warm temperatures. The Unity Center is not air conditioned. Gloves and grabbers are helpful for litter pick up.
Meal Prep Dates: July 16th and 23rd, 8-10am
Free Medical Clinic: 10am, Unity Center
IIAW Monthly Meeting, 6:30pm, Tuesday July 26th, Unity Center, 801 W. 23rd Street.
Team Jesus left Saturday, July 2nd to go to Standing Rock and Turtle Mountain reservations in ND. They were blessed with 40 new bikes from an "angel" donor, for the kids they encounter, along with clothing, personal items, household items, work equipment. This is the fourth year Team Jesus has ministered the gospel in these areas, building strong relationships as they go.
