PERPLEXING, YET EXCITING QUESTION
Dear Saints,
WHY HASN’T THIS PROPOSAL GONE VIRAL: What if, in these last days, Jesus would bring back to light to the world that which has been polluted, lost and forgotten over the last 2,000 years? What if he were to bring to light to the world His specific descriptions of what will happen in these treacherous times AND PERSONALLY REVIVE HIS EVERLASTING GOSPEL, and instruct those that want to listen on how to thrive through these tribulations and into HIS KINGDOM ON EARTH? WHY IS THE RESTORED GOSPEL NOT GOING VIRAL TODAY? This not a rhetorical question. I truly wonder why, when people are crying out in anguish and confusion for safety and refuge, for the perfect and unmovable truth and haven, for real love and inviolable peace. I don’t think Jesus said we can’t have Zion, the ultimate goal of the restoration—didn’t he say to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion? I really don’t understand how the work that Jesus assigned to be done in these last days – the most marvelous possible news of our time, the concept and reality of Zion, can be taken lightly or ignored. It astounds me. I’m afraid we’ve lost our initiative. Could it possibly be that “our Church” is waiting for an event that will motivate each person personally? Are we waiting for someone to drive the bandwagon so that then we will climb on because everyone else did? Who will drive it? Are we waiting for the “leadership” to give us permission to “come ye out of Babylon”? Are we waiting for disaster? Are we waiting for some great spiritual event that will miraculously change our level of belief and suddenly eliminate our need to muster our own personal dedication? Are we afraid to be judged by our peers as pursuing an absurd goal? Albert Einstein said, ”Only those that attempt the absurd can achieve the impossible.”
God has always said to have watchmen on the watchtower and to be watchmen, ourselves, but I don’t think that he said to wait until we encounter disaster before we respond to his command to get out of Babylon. What kind of faith is that? What kind of obedience is that? Do we need to know or experience disaster to consider that Christ’s words are for us and that His instructions for us eternally and especially in these last days are TRUE? You know who will answer at judgement day for you.
This may have sounded negative to you, but I really hope that it gives you renewed personal initiative, personal freedom and a renewed knowledge that Jesus’ words are THE WORDS OF LIFE…FOR YOU.
Please forgive me for wondering out loud why the gospel (the very gospel that existed in heaven before the world was populated, the everlasting and perfect gospel) restored in these last days, for these last days... why it has not gone “viral” in the whole world. It seems odd that we, as individual and insignificant sinners, would be the ones to take the initiative to obey and honor Christ with complete hope and trust. But that’s where the enterprise of Zion must really start. It really is that simple, with you. Why? Because living by celestial principles is required of each of us, personally. AND, it’s not a burden! It brings fulfillment and joy, Jesus’ promise. Don’t believe me, I’m a sinner, but you can believe Jesus.
Here’s a great benefit that awaits us; fellowship with others of like dreams and desires; working together for Zion. If you would like to meet some humble, sincere folks actually working together, under Christ’s direction, for the immediate and future needs of Zion, investigate Zionworks from the source. You are invited to both pray AND investigate firsthand. You are invited to visit this, presently small, group. An unexpected result of our praying and working together to develop means to live independent of “Babylon” and keep the saints alive has been the powerful blessings of the spirit among us. That simply demonstrates that the spiritual and physical aspects of Zion are inseparable.
