Let's proclaim September 22 as
"Book of Mormon Day"
Today should be a holiday among all people in the Restoration!
Let's proclaim September 22 as "Book of Mormon Day."
Let's celebrate the Lord's gift of the Book of Mormon to the world.
September 22, 1823 (199 years ago), Joseph Smith, Jr., first saw the Book of Mormon plates.
September 22, 1827, Joseph Smith, Jr., was given stewardship of the plates to translate and publish as the Book of Mormon.
Let's make plans during this year to have a real celebration in 2023 (the bicentennial of the coming forth of the Book of Mormon).
That means that September 21 should be called "Book of Mormon Eve," celebrating the angel visit to introduce the Book of Mormon plates to Joseph Smith, Jr.
