MORE THINGS TO STOCK UP ON
The Zionworks Preparedness Guide contains a list of practical and basic items that will become vital for survival and comfort when we either choose to or are forced to become independent of the world’s goods and services, as God has told us to. Here are a few more items to stock up on for obvious reasons: Nascent iodine, older encyclopedias, bound issues of Mother Earth News, practical how-to manuals. Water and food top the list. Each head of household is responsible for their family’s survival and well-being. Email zionworkz@protonmail.com for a copy of the Preparedness Guide, which is also full of scriptural descriptions of today’s situations and directions especially in relation to Zion. The scriptures are clear on these revealings and instructions. Remember to stock up now while it’s still possible. Get involved in Zionworks to learn more and to assist.
Think back just ten or twenty years ago—Could you have possibly have imagined the world situation of today and the kind of events that fill our news and land today? There is a grave and shocking recent video titled “WARNING: MAJOR EVACUATION UNDERWAY / Governments Prepare for PANIC AND UNREST”. This is probably what we’re facing very soon. The news of world and national events is complex, distorted, un-trustworthy and dismal in relationship to the pure, hearty, reliable, unchangeable and life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ. Why can’t we, as a people, just retreat into the happy and promise-filled life of the Gospel and leave the world behind? It’s so comforting to realize that that’s what God has instructed us to do! It will take physical effort and radical life-style changes as well as diligent spiritual dedication. That’s what we were placed here for, you and I. A great part of our difficulty is in personally escaping our habits and the influence of friends and peers, and unfortunately, many of those crippling influences are among what we think of as the church. Each of us is PERSONALLY responsible to Jesus—and He has prepared the way for each of us and has his special gifts and responsibilities for each of us.

Zionworks’ last meeting had a delightful gathering of old and new workers. Each one took a little time to tell about their background, hopes, dreams and struggles. It was unexpected, but we had asked the Lord to guide the meeting by his spirit and open our hearts! After the sharing of hearts, Zionworks’ endeavor seemed to really get in gear. The watchman’s report was an eye-opener as usual. More committees were formed, one to deal with the vital necessities of sanitation, headed by Randy VanEaton, and one for safe water sourcing, headed by Gary Metzger. They will be giving revealing progress reports with some surprising information and solutions! There are, presently, three food preservation events coming soon. This coming Sunday, Oct. 23, Debi Waters will be demonstrating freeze drying. She has been studying and preparing for this demonstration for several weeks and may have a tasty sampling of freeze dried apples. In the next week or two, there will be a vacuum packing demonstration and activity. Be prepared to bring your food and other items to vacuum pack and to bring vacuum bags. These will be announced soon with more complete info.
Also in the works are alternative energy, business and revenue ventures and, of course always the number one survival priority, food. This is a big and complicated necessity that will need several sub committees. Presently, the entire Zionworks group is the food committee, but we need to get really serious and establish the sub committees, probably under one food leader. This is vital. Volunteers are seriously needed. Your ideas and enthusiasm are seriously needed. All of the areas of thriving independent of Babylon will certainly get developed as we follow Christ’s will. Zion will be more colorful and fulfilling than many of us can imagine.

NEXT MEETING
Zionworks’ next meeting will be this coming Sunday at 2:00 PM at Atherton Restoration Branch, 4910 N. Main St., Atherton. There will be a bartering table. This is fun and practical. Also, there will be a show and tell table. Much visiting after adjournment.
