HEARTENING

It is usually heartening and always interesting to hear from people that have heard something about our honest attempts to answer God’s call to simply obey him without hesitation. They have expressed approval of and attraction to our cooperating to live in the Kingdom’s independent-of-Babylon spiritual and physical reality.

All mentally and spiritually healthy people want to know what the ultimate truths are and how to source them so they can worship in spirit and truth, so they can know truth and know what the real substances of life and purpose are. Regardless of the areas of research, the ultimate discovery when seeking truth is that God is the source of all truth, marvel and eternal wonder. Through study of His scripture, constant prayer, struggles, repentances and continual trying on His terms—through these things, we can gain sound footing on The Path. The Path, of course, leads to more challenges and struggles, but with many reassurances along the way. Creation and the Gospel are so full of unending wonders and marvels that we don’t need made-made or evil-conceived doctrine or theory.

CALENDAR

NEXT MEETING: This coming Sunday, Oct. 8 at 2:00 PM at Central Branch, 919 S. Delaware, Independence. On the agenda: Watchman/ state of the world report; Taking stock: how are we doing in the most important areas of Zion that need to be brought to reality? ; putting our energies together for Christ and his kingdom. All Kingdom seekers are invited.

WORK DAY: Saturday, Oct. 14. Move and level sand pile, cover greenhouse for Blessing. These work days are always needed for people that need help, and somehow, working enhances the fellowship.
