Included here is information concerning where and how to participate in the September 27 Solemn Assembly, and preparation services and activities on September 25 and 26. Three Ways to Participate in the Solemn Assembly and Preparation Service
There are three ways to participate in the September 27 Solemn Assembly and the preparation service at Living Hope Restoration Branch on September 26, from 2 to 4 PM. The three ways include:
1. In person—at the Waldo Ave Restoration Branch, or one of the 12 satellite locations, such as the Living Hope Restoration Branch. Satellite locations are locations were you can go and be with others, and share in the service, such as saying a prayer.
September 27 - The Solemn Assembly will be held at the Waldo Ave Restoration Branch (RB) located at 819 W. Waldo Ave, Independence, MO. The doors will open at 8:30 AM CDT, at 9:15 preliminary activities will begin, and the service will start promptly at 9:30.
There is limited space at the Waldo Ave location, up to 450 in the Sanctuary, and 250 in gymnasium. At this time we are projecting that over 1000 of you have expressed an intention on participating at the Waldo Ave RB location, of which around 400 of you have shared that you would be willing to participate at one of the four satellite locations in and around the CenterPlace. These locations are Colbern Rd RB, Oak Grove RB, Odessa Hills Campground, and Living Hope RB. We encourage those of you who are willing to participate at one of these four satellite locations, to prayerfully consider doing so. Those that are interested in an outdoor ventnue are encouraged to participate at the Odessa Hills Campground.
Parking at Waldo Ave RB – Due to limited parking at Waldo Ave RB, arrangements have been made for overflow parking at the Stone Church. There are two parking lots available there, one on the east side of N. River Blvd, the other on the west side. The lots are 3 blocks south of Waldo Ave RB, about a 5 to 10 minute walk. Shuttles will be running on a regular basis starting at 8 AM for those who may need them. We ask that you consider parking in these overflow lots, instead of on the streets in the neighborhoods surrounding the Waldo Ave RB. If you do decide to park on the surrounding streets, we ask that you not block anyone’s driveway, or encroach on them in any way.
Satellite Locations - In addition to the four satellite locations in the CenterPlace, there are six other locations throughout the US, and two International locations. Those attending at satellite locations will be able to participate and interact in the service as if they were at Waldo in-person. Table A – Solemn Assembly Satellite Location information details information about each of the satellite locations.
September 26 – The Solemn Assembly Preparation Service will be held at the Living Hope RB from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Space is limited to 225 participants at this location. Parking is limited as well. We encourage you to prayerfully consider participating at one of the other three satellite locations in the CenterPlace for this service. These locations are Colbern Rd RB, Oak Grove RB, and Odessa Hills Campground. The service will be available at all satellite locations through technology, as well as through Zoom and “Live Stream.”

2. Through Zoom—at home, or at an agreed upon location with several others. Those participating through Zoom will be able experience the service through the use of technology, including being able to offer a prayer. We encourage you to join at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the Solemn Assembly. The instructions for participating using Zoom for both Saturday’s preparation service at Living Hope RB, and Sunday’s Solemn Assembly service at Waldo Ave RB, are as follows:

3. Through “Live Streaming”—at home. Those participating in this manner will be able to view the services, but not be able to personally share in them.
