COLUMBIA RESTORATION BRANCH UPDATE

Dear Saints of God,

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power the worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, Amen. –Ephesians 3:20-21

Thank you for your prayerful and financial support towards our branch’s purchase of a church building. By the Lord’s blessing and the support of his church we did win the auction and will close on a new church building on September 11. He has proven himself faithful to come through when we look to him with faith and trust. His vision far exceeds the limitations of our experience and expectations. Nothing that he invites us to do is impossible, even when the way for accomplishment does not seem clear. It is wonderful to recognize the support of the saints in this endeavor. We have felt encouraged by the prayers, partnership, and donations of our brothers and sisters. Through this experience, we have been blessed to see through the darkness of past confusion and discouragement into the glory of Zion. Nothing in the world can stay his hand and his great and marvelous work will find fulfillment.

One of our remembered and beloved members, Marion Shaw, used to say often: “God is always on the job … and He is big enough for the job.” He has proven this truth to us. The expenses associated with the purchase of the building are covered. We are working on options to obtain furniture for the sanctuary, equipment for the upkeep of the property, and a couple of minor improvements and repairs needed on the property. If you have an interest in contributing toward those please contact us. If you travel to Columbia, please come and worship with us.

The address of the church is:
3681 Mexico Gravel Road
Columbia MO 65202

Now, my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, in whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God for ever. –Alma 14:127-128

Thank you again for your support, and may God bless you in the building up of His kingdom.

Sincerely,

B.J. Schultz, on behalf of the Columbia Restoration Branch.
