Roger Resch Obituary
Roger Kent Resch, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on August 6, 2019, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Roger was born in Independence, Missouri, on November 14, 1942, to Gordon and Lucille Resch. Roger was active in the Restoration Movement and an ordained Elder. Roger is survived by his wife, Kathie Resch, his sons and their wives, Andy and Jackie Resch, Brian and Tracy Resch, and Corey and Caitie Resch, and step-son and wife, Jeff and Cara Anger. He has two granddaughters and three grandsons, Alicia, Eliza, Zach, Jacob, and Daniel. He is also survived by his siblings and spouses, Howard Resch, Robert and Linda Resch, and Marilyn and Joseph Bates.
During his work life, Roger loved teaching, was an over the road trucker, and spent over 30 years as a gauge inspector at Honeywell.
Graveside services will be held on August 8, 2019, 1:30 p.m., at Mound Grove Cemetery.
