“The Field is White Already to Harvest, therefore Whoso Desireth to Reap,
Let Him Thrust in His Sickle with His Might, and Reap While the Day Lasts…
Whosoever Will thrust in His Sickle and Reap, the Same is Called of God” (DC 6:2a-b)

“It is yet day when all can work” (DC 142:5b)

 

DC 32:1c-d & 2c
For verily, verily I say unto you, that ye are called to lift up your voices as with the sound of a trump, to declare my gospel unto a crooked and a perverse generation: for, behold, the field is white already to harvest; and it is the eleventh hour, and for the last time that I shall call laborers into my vineyard…yea, verily, verily I say unto you, that the field is white already to harvest; wherefore, thrust in your sickle, and reap with all your might, mind, and strength.

 

John 4:36-40

Jesus said unto them,…Say not ye there are yet four months, then cometh harvest?
Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he who reapeth, receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that both he who soweth, and he who reapeth, may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth and another reapeth. I have sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labor; the prophets have labored, and ye have entered into their labors.

 

Psalm 126:5-6

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

 

Galatians 6:7-10

Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
