A TEAM JESUS ministry family is looking for a home to purchase, It can be a fixer upper if it is liveable while being renovated. They need 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. July 27th is the IIAW monthly meeting, 6:30pm at the Unity Center, 803 W. 23rd Street.
We have many updates and progress reports.
Praise report:
We made great headway on our workday July 17th. Forty volunteers split their time between meal prep for the Beloveds, cleaning out debris from the Unity Center window installation, and doing clean up at 23rd Street and S. Crysler. The manager of CVS Pharmacy had agreed to let us dump our trash bags in his dumpster. When he saw 20 young LDS volunteers cleaning up his parking lot, he opened his cooler to them for bottled drinks. He wanted to know more about our organization and asked if he could partner with us. Plans are in the works for him and his boss to tour the Unity Center and see how they may be able to help the Initiative. Praise and thank God for his blessing of Wesley and CVS to us.
