IIAW Meeting Date and Unity Center Updates October 27
Hello, Initiative Family,
Our regular monthly meeting is next Tuesday, October 27th. Unity Center, 803 W. 23rd Street.
Bob Dickson will speak about a financial stewardship program to help rid people of debt and stay that way.
Ryan Anderson will tell his passion, experience, and resources in career development programs.
We will have committed reports.
We have many blessings to report on the Unity Center renovations. The commercial sink is hooked up. The wellness rooms are painted and AC units installed. The roof is being completely repaired. The Jesus Store is serving the needs of the community. Donations of appliances and furniture are coming in, which is more than expected. As things come in, they go out.
Our next goal is to install windows throughout the facility. We have an estimate from Window World for $68,000. Please pray with us for God's blessing of funds to cover this project quickly. The Jesus Store also needs 12 sets of shelves for its center area. Menards has suitable ones at a good price of $79. The estimated cost is $1000.
We have seen so much progress in only 1 1/2 years, such a short amount of time. Only God could have done this so fast through His sons and daughters. Praise Him for his goodness to us all. How greatly we are blessed!
