Glen Friend Obituary and Service Information
Entrepreneur, artist, and Minister Glen Friend’s life didn’t end with his death. Glen LeRoy Friend passed away at the age of 87 in Kansas City, Missouri on January 26, 2022. He shared his principles, love, courage, and giving nature to everyone he came in contact with. Glen enjoyed living life in a big way through preaching, fishing and hiking the Colorado Rockies. Glen’s passing was preceded by the love of his life and high school sweetheart June and also by sons Mark and Mathew.
Glen is survived by his daughter Susan and son Jacob, 10 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. His legacy will be carried on by the those with memories of him and all who live by his principles of life and love.
All are invited to pay tribute to this man with a loving heart and electric smile at a Celebration of Life scheduled on April 2, 2022, 2:00 PM at Colbern Road Restoration Branch Church; 9525 Lake Lotawana Road, Gate 2, Lees Summit, MO 64086.
