Looking for Property to Purchase

We are putting out feelers to see where God might lead us. We are looking for a place to purchase to call home (we lost ours to an electrical fire the last day of 2017). We are prayerfully moving forward and wanted to reach out to the saints first.

We are pre-approved by a mortgage lender, although we would prefer to not take a loan out from “The World” and would prefer to do owner finance.  We would be able to put down 20%. We would prefer for the interest to be going to a saints bank account than to the world. 

We have very specific “wants” that we are looking for. They are listed below in hopes that if any of you know someone ready to sell or a place that would be perfect for us that you would let us know. 

Wants: 

• South of the river.

• Near Jackson county if not in. 

• Apx. 5 acres as we garden and want to plant wheat as well as fruit trees. 

• Ideally the property would have a natural water source. 

• Neighbors that love God and their neighbors :) 

• Minimum of 2 bedrooms, 1 & ½ bath

• Wood burning stove

• Outbuilding / shop 

If the property has two livable buildings/spaces it would be great as we are looking to purchase a place where our son can live also (a metal shop that could be converted or a walkout basement would be good) so we can help each other take care of animals, garden, etc. 

Don’t Want:

•  property that is close to major electric lines (not the normal kind but the industrialized lines or a substation is not something that we would be interested in). 

• Cell towers nearby

• Property on a high traffic road

We are praying that God will lead us to where he wants us to be. So, if you feel the spirit leading you, then we would love to hear from you!
