Initiative Encouragement and Updates.

Hello, Initiative and Unity Center Friends,

Here are the next event dates at the Unity Center, 803 W. 23rd Street:

Tuesday, February 23: Initiative monthly meeting, 6:30-8:00pm,
Saturday, February 27: Meal Prep for Beloveds, 8:00 - 10:00am,

The JESUS POCKET CHANGE JAR for this month at First Fruits Prayer Group has reached $126 with four days to go before the next Initiative meeting. At last month's meeting, God opened purses to give the Unity Center a total of $502. How amazing He is to bless us just through the giving of pocket change! Granted, some who contributed did more than give coins, but it shows how God magnifies and multiplies all efforts to provide for our Beloveds and build His Kingdom. I do believe He loves seeing His children come up with fun creative ways to help Him do His work.

Looking forward to hearing updates on the various individual and group efforts going on now in the community and progress on Unity Center renovation. Kat Ballard, who introduced herself and spoke at our last meeting about recycling, has gathered 20 helpers in her efforts to clean up our city and re-establish a recycling program in Independence. She calls her group "LITTER GITTERS".

Thank you all for your prayer and volunteer support. Come share what God has put in your mind to do. You will find others who may like to help you.

How can we fail, if we are on God's side?! We are better together than we are alone. Love Never Fails. Helping one person, one family, one neighborhood at a time. God has provided everything we need to do His many Kingdom projects. All He requires is desire and willingness to get started. We don't have to be perfect; we just have to get started. Everyone has a part to play and wonderful, joyful, fun work to do that will make the enemy cringe!
