L A Huff, 90, of Independence, MO, passed away on January 15, 2021.

L A was born on December 29, 1930 in Independence, Missouri, to Charles and Nanny Huff. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in the class of 1948. He then went on to the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for four years and was in the Korean War. During his time in service, L A received a Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal. On March 30, 1951, he married the love of his life, Norma Jean Williams. L A was an auto mechanic for his own business, Huff Auto Repair for many years. He was a loving husband and brother. Being a devout Christian, L A was an elder of South Crysler Restoration Branch for many years. He had a great love for God and his country and he will be dearly missed.
L A is survived by his sister, Betty Sturman; brother, Carl (Wilma) Huff and son, Jack (Louise) Huff. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Huff and parents Charles Clifford and Nanny Mildred Huff.
Cremation is planned with a private graveside service held for family. L A will be laid to rest at Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
