New Church History Coloring Books at Restoration Bookstore
Two beautiful coloring books on Church History events are now available! These coloring books were illustrated by Nancy Harlacher, a well-known artist in the Church. Descriptions of each picture were added by Larry Harlacher. Also included in the back of the books are references and bibliographies, which the teacher can use to find the background and full story of each picture. These books are wonderful for Sunday School classes or for family activities. Each page is perforated for easy removal.
Church History Coloring Book 1—New York
This first volume has pictures to color of 30 special events that transpired in the Church in New York through 1830. Some of these include Joseph in the grove, the Angel Moroni’s visits to Joseph Smith, events in Joseph and Emma’s life together, the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, the organization of the Church, Joseph Smith’s and Oliver Cowdery’s baptism by John the Baptist, and many other significant events. $6.00
Church History Coloring Book 2—Ohio
The second volume in the series has 23 pictures to color which portray important happenings when the Church moved to Ohio—including the persecution of the Saints there, the work on the Inspired Version, the building of the Kirtland Temple, the wondrous dedication services of the Temple in March of 1836, and many others. $6.00
