Unity Center Window Installation
Hello, Initiative and Unity Center Friends,
Billy Tharp, IIAW Leader, needs skilled volunteers to knock out the existing panels and windows from the Unity Center to prepare for the installation of the new windows. Please contact him at glmsetfree@yahoo.com, or 816-695-0621, if you are available or know others who are. Demolition begins this next week.
Also, Saturday, April 17th, we will do our Neighborhood Clean Up Day, since it was rained out last Saturday. We will help Paula Swayne again to get her property in shape. We will need rakes, loppers, grass and weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, shovels, brooms, dust pans, etc. We will meet at her house, The Mansion House, at 21st and 22nd Street on S. Sterling Avenue at 8:00am.
