WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT TOTALITARIAN GOVERNMENT ON THIS LAND?

“This shall be a land of liberty unto the Gentiles: and there shall be no kings upon the land, who shall raise up unto the Gentiles…For they who are not for me are against me, saith God…And he that fighteth against Zion shall perish, saith God; for he that raiseth up a king against me shall perish. For I the Lord, the King of Heaven, will be their king…Wherefore, I will consecrate this land unto thy seed forever, for the land of their inheritance…Wherefore, I will have all men that dwell thereon, that they shall worship me, saith God.” 2N7:18-32. “…as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the people of the Lord…For the Lord covenanteth with none saveth it be them that repent and believe in his son, who is the Holy One of Israel.” 2N12: 77,78.

The above prophecies, translated into English in 1828-29 are astoundingly accurate. Nephi understood in 550 BC, that this land we call North America was chosen by God to be a land of liberty, forseeing that this land will be overrun by Gentiles, but that the Gentiles will become their protectors in their future and that the Gentiles would have a government of the people and not of a king or totalitarian, and prophecying that our righteous inhabitants of today will not fall to a king or totalitarian. Then, it is clearly stated that the Lord will be our king! This remarkable prediction can be a reassurance for us, with America so irreversibly enmeshed in rapidly progressing totalitarianism that outside of God’s intervention, there can be no reversing it. However, how much terror and suffering will there be on this land before God destroys the wicked and a people dedicated to righteousness and harmony prevail? Remarkably, many other scriptures corroborate in the message and instructions on HOW to live in harmony and how to live independent of the forces destroying freedom and the pursuit of happiness until those that fight against Zion are destroyed by God. Also, remarkably, this, the establishment of Zion, is the mission of the church restored in these latter days, and our privilege and duty as people who have dedicated ourselves to Christ. In our last meeting, last Sunday afternoon, we drew closer together. We enjoyed an environment among ourselves, blessed by the approval of the Holy Spirit; with an expressed awareness at the time that we were experiencing a Zionic situation as we talked and each of us expressed some of our deeper desires on specifically how we want to work together for the Kingdom. There were some that needed and received prayer and laying on of hands. There were some that told about their spiritual experiences and experiences that caused them to grow and develop more insight. I hope that I won’t forget that day and that we and all that seek the Lord can live and associate within His will.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CALENDAR

ZIONWORKS NEXT MEETING this coming Sunday, March 12th at 2:00 pm at Central Branch of The Restoration Church, 919S. Delaware, Independence in the basement fellowship hall. All are invited. The agenda will include Spring planting, growing small and large livestock, off-grid tips and techniques, revving up our teams on food, water, sanitation, etc., trading of produce and labor, bartering and planning service projects.

CANNING MEAT CLASS presented by Kathy Williams. March 25th at Saint’s Haven Branch, 300 Chicago Ave. in Sibley at 1:00. Expect this to be VERY INFORMATIVE with loads of samples on display. This will be a class and demonstration, but not a hands-on event. Kathy reminds us that once you have RSVP’d, be sure to be there and be on time or notify her early if you cancel for the convenience of others. Space is limited so sign up early. MAKING ZION A REALITY! March 26th at 6:30 PM at Atherton Restoration Branch, 4910 Main St., Atherton. This will be a joint session with Zionworks and the Atherton congregation in which we explain the goals and missions of each group and work together to augment Christ’s directions in these last days. All are invited. There will be much information exchanged, including a Q&A session.

NEEDED: Zionworks needs helpers. As larger and larger numbers of people recognize the urgent need for Zion and as people are fleeing from treachery around the world, this place of safety and refuge needs to come together under Christ’s direction. Those desirous to live by Christ’s love need the Kingdom and the Kingdom needs them.
