ZIONWORKS NEWS for MARCH 3, 2023
RESOURCES FOR THOSE SEEKING AND NEEDING CHRIST’S KINGDOM ON EARTH
Zionworks’ purpose is to be a gathering and cooperative for all those who desire to live by celestial principles on the earth. This desire is expressed by Jesus in the Lord’s prayer, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Having been told to “…Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues”, we see the necessity to disconnect from all lifestyles that will not lead to the Kingdom. We see the necessity to disconnect from anything that cannot pass the test implied by Christ’s statement, “No unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of Heaven.” If the socio-economic system of this land cannot pass the test, we are to “get out of her.” This means that we must be able to physically sustain ourselves independently, helping each other to live productively, free, happy and healthy as our Maker has always intended for this land. Presently, some are called to build His kingdom conditions on earth and some are called to flee to it.
In recognizing the present urgency for this Kingdom condition, we do not lose sight of the vital responsibility the church has to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead people to Him. The church must be kept spiritually and physically alive. Its people must be kept alive so there can BE a church. When “all systems fail”, we will still need sources of safe water, nutritious food, sanitation, transportation, safety from disease, home heat, cooking heat, shelter, communication, the ability to gather and all aspects of healthy, happy life. Also, we are called to live abundantly. The lifestyle Jesus desires for us is no less than his kingdom on the earth. This is the reason Zionworks has specific teams (water, food, sanitation heat, etc.) ; it is a response to Christ’s call. Please investigate Zionworks and visit us at any Zionworks meeting or event.
INTERESTING AND RESOURCEFUL INFORMATION
Yesterday morning, I googled “Growing vitamin C in zone 6” and encountered a site called ruralsprout.com and read one of their many articles. This one was titled “Grow Your Vitamins--20 Most Nutrient Dense Veggies to Grow in Your Garden”. It was a delightful article on growing nutrient-dense vegetables and even had recipes. I quickly browsed the other 40 articles. It was a really nice place to visit. There was no info on growing chocolate, however.
SurvivalBlog.com is an incredibly resourceful site. I strongly recommend holding your cursor over their menu option “Archives”, then clicking on “Category and Date Archives” This patriotic and Christian site has been in existence for many years and has compiled an incredible amount of vital info. They exist by donation and I recommend donating because of the amazing and conscientious work they do.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CALENDAR
Last Sunday evening we had a joint meeting with Outreach Restoration Branch. Pastor Benji Pedersen started it out well with clearly organized and well-presented reporting of their congregational goals for Zion, the work they have done so far and their plans for how to accomplish further goals for the establishment of Zion. We greatly enjoyed the fellowship and sharing of goals.
Kathy Williams’ class last Saturday on grains and making bread was filled to capacity with a wide variety of people, attracting many people of various beliefs. One of her goals and also one of the goals of Saints Haven branch is to help and unite people from their area and beyond.
KATHY’S NEXT CLASS will be on March 25th at Saints Haven Branch, 300 Chicago Ave. in Sibley at 1:00 pm. It will be a demonstration on CANNING MEAT. This will be an information-packed demonstration. It will not be a hands-on event. Kathy’ classes are always very well prepared for with much to learn and much to see! She reminds us that once you have rsvp’d, be sure to be there and be on time or notify her early if you need to cancel because the space is limited and the class needs to start on time with minimal interruptions. Reserve your spot by calling Kathy at 816 510 1380 or emailing her at kjwlianahona@gmail.com.

NEXT ZIONWORKS MEETING, SUNDAY, MARCH 4th, 2:00 pm at Zion’s Hope Restoration Branch, 36436 E. Stoenner Rd, Sibley. Though this is a Sibley address, it’s not in the Sibley area. To get there, take Hwy 24 east of Buckner 2 ½ miles east to Levasy and go south on Hwy H one mile, then one mile Wast on Stoenner Rd. The small white church will be on the north side. Zion’s hope invites you to their class at 10:00 and the sermon hour at 11:00.
This will be a two-part meeting. The first part will be the general meeting dealing with clear plans with the specifics of living independent of Babylon and moving forward with ensuring means of securing food, water, sanitation, alternative energy, etc. There will be time for discussion and new business and, as usual, fellowship. We will try to get through this as quickly as possible and then adjourn to have a short and effective core, or directors’, meeting. All are invited to both meetings. There is always lots of visiting afterwards along with show-and-tell and bartering which is always fun.
MAKING A REALITY! March 26th at 6:30 pm at Atherton Restoration Branch, 4910 N. Main St., Atherton. This will be a joint session with Zionworks and the Atherton saints in which we explain each of our goals and missions and work together to augment Christ’s directions in these days. All are invited. There will be much info exchanged, including a Q&A session.
NEEDED: Zionworks needs helpers. As larger and larger numbers of people recognize the urgent need for Zion and as people are fleeing from treachery around the world, this Place of Safety and Refuge needs to come together under Christ’s direction. Those desirous to abide by Christ’s principles of love need the Kingdom and the Kingdom needs them.
