The
prophet Nephi creates for us the image of the Book of Mormon becoming
unfurled like a flag, when referring to it as an ensign to the nations,
and a standard unto His people who are the house of Israel. We have the
opportunity to assist in raising this banner—testifying of the
latter-day glory—and His promise to gather His people from the four
quarters of the earth, initiating the building of the Holy City in the latter-days. As you drive around Independence MO you will see billboards announcing this initiative, Bring Your Book of Mormon to Work and School Day this coming September 22.
We
ask you to familiarize yourself with this book. If you have read it in
the past, we encourage you to read it again, for the first time.
Throughout the summer we are inviting each Book of Mormon believer
throughout the world, to be looking forward to September 22, when we
launch our effort to share it with our neighbors, co–workers, family,
and friends. Continue to be waiting and watching for upcoming videos,
extoling the virtues of the book, as well as offering helps in sharing
its message. Please join us!
