President Donald J. Trump
Before the nomination of the 2016 Republican candidate for President of
the USA I was favoring men such as Dr. Ben Carson, Senators Marco
Rubio, or Ted Cruz. When Donald Trump was nominated, I said to a man who
has an office in our place of business: “If that man [Donald Trump]
gets elected, it will be by divine intervention.”
I had been diligently asking the Lord for a praying man in the White
House. After Donald Trump had selected Mike Pence as his running mate,
and I heard Pence say in an interview: “I try to spend some time on my
knees every day,” I decided I could vote for Trump. I even checked to
see if the Vice President has an office in the White House, and he does.
My statement “If Donald Trump ever gets elected President, it will be
by divine intervention” was proven true on election night of 2016. I was
comforted by the evidence that God is still blessing our country. He is
with us yet! Alma’s words are still applicable to our nation. “. . . it
is by the prayers of the righteous that ye are spared” (Alma 8:33). We
were spared from another evil regime.
I believe the name of our President is significant. This statement is supported by Jonathan Cahn in his book The Oracle.
He stated: “Donald Trump came into the world on June 14, 1946. There
was a portion of Scripture appointed for the day of his birth [Numbers
10:1-10]. This portion of Scripture focused upon the Trump or trumpet.
It was to sound upon the appointed days and sacred times of God. Donald
Trump was born to sound announcements of “significant events; and days
of gladness.”
President Trump announced that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel on
May 14, 2018, precisely seventy years after Israel became a nation on
May 14, 1948. The sound of this Trump was heard around the world.
And “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last
trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians
15:52). This is the First Resurrection, or the Resurrection of the Just,
which will occur on the day of the Lord’s Second Coming.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in
Christ shall rise first. Then they who are alive, shall be caught up
together into the clouds with them who remain [the dead in Christ which
shall rise first], to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we be ever
with the Lord”
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
I believe President Trump may be our last President. What do you think?
“Even so, come, Lord Jesus”
(Revelation 22:20).
