Initiative Neighborhood Clean Up March 13
Hello, Initiative and Unity Center Friends,
Neighborhood Clean Up: Saturday, March 13th, 8:00am - 10:00am. Unity Center parking lot, 803 W 23rd Street.
Paula Swayne, a widow who owns the Mansion House at 22nd and Sterling, needs help weeding, pruning and edging her place. A cherry tree will be removed. We will need a chain saw, gloves, hats, loppers, pruners, shovels, rakes, blowers, edgers, brooms, scoops and dust pans, etc. If we have enough volunteers we will pick up litter from 23rd Street north to Winner road along Sterling.
Rain is expected. Dress for temps in the mid 40's. Our time may be shortened if the cold gets too much. Looking forward to seeing how hearty we all are. See you tomorrow.
