Kirtland Priesthood Gathering

 

From: Brian Mundy bmundy@eldersconference.org Kirtland Priesthood Gathering My Beloved Brother, We now have less than 40 days before we gather together in Kirtland. I have attached flyers that can either be used as bulletin inserts or sent to someone for you to personally invite to the gathering. Hopefully in the next week I will send out a 30 day scripture list to help in your preparation. As has been shared, we believe that this is a continuation to the solemn assembly. I cannot stress enough the importance of our preparation, individually as well as collectively, for this gathering. We cannot simply go to Kirtland for fellowship or as a general gathering. Please, realize the importance of us gathering to cry between the porch and the altar on behalf of the people. The Planning Committee as well as the Coordinating Council are requesting that each of us reach out and personally invite ten other priesthood to attend. Also, please be an ambassador to your specific branch. Let's try to get 100% participation of the priesthood from your branch to attend. We currently have 61 that have registered from 21 different branches. If you are not able to attend, we ask that you still prepare with us, and pray for those that will be attending in person.
