ZIONWORKS NEWS for AUGUST 25, 2022

"THE HASTENING TIME IS HERE AND GREATER UNITY THAN EVER BEFORE IS NECESSARY IF THE FORCES OF OPPOSITION ARE TO BE MET." D&C135:2b

Hello Saints,

"For it must needs be that there is an opposition in all things." 2N1:181. You may have trials of your faith, challenges to your beliefs and commitments, maybe even challenges to your core values and goals, at times even to our assigned purpose. For many of us, those times are right now. May you and we know and be refreshed and truly renewed in knowing that we are praying for each other. May we never stop praying for each other. The term " double down" can be taken to mean "to passionately recommit one's efforts to a cause or course of action; to persevere." Strength to you, renewing of your mind, focus and Spirit is my prayer. These are indeed tough times for each of us that will get tougher. A friend, Mark, says that our personal life responsibilities can be like the task of rolling a large rock toward a distant goal and that the rock gets bigger and heavier the farther we go, but that we MUST cross the goal. We must have each other's prayers and God's gift of vision and strength! A pilot's advice for minimizing disaster in...well, disastrous situations, is to "maintain situational awareness." 'Very hard to do at times. So---'praying for each other! Be comforted in Christ's love.

Consider these sayings and scriptures (among innumerable others):

"The foremost preparation we can achieve to endure the tribulation is not in the accumulation of provisions--though that may be necessary; it is not sufficient in and of itself. We cannot, will not survive unless we come together and learn to live in community. And we don't know how to do this." Anonymous

"...the Lord giveth no commandments unto men save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." 1N1:65

"We've all failed as Christians, but we try.", Thomas Renz

"It's always impossible until someone does it.", Nelson Mandella

"The laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion" 2N11:109

"And the Lord called his people Zion because they were of one heart and one mind."

Actually, we have been given in scripture, clear instructions how to live in harmony with Christ and each other. Do we have an acceptable way to opt out? So--who must take the first step? That answer is between you and God. Again, sincere prayers for each other are vital. There is an abundance of saints with every skill and resource to have an operational community that has obeyed the commandment to "get out of Babylon." There is a growing group of people committed to the concept of "total consecration" and mutually committed to Zion's reality. That particular group calls itself Zionworks. However, Zionworks is no one's savior, and it is no one's authority; those are the domain(s) of Christ. Our commitment is to obey Christ in every detail including His instructions for Zionic living. That must include cognizance of the signs of the times. I hope you are preparing. I exhort you to stock up. I hope you are spiritually and physically preparing for inevitable devastation on our land. Don't take my word for it. Seriously investigate scriptures, history and national and world events. There is a relatively short and very revealing list of prophetic scriptures and mention of correlating events available if you email zionworkz@protonmail.com or call 816-690-8464. It is a must-have for every saint. Also, near the beginning of each meeting, there is a "Watchman's Report" reporting on national and world events and correlating them with prophesy. The good news about sacrificing and hard work to make Zion a physical reality is the goal of being there in it, sheltered in Christ's love!

Last Saturday, Jonathon Stayton led a session on vacuum sealing of various foods and other items. His and Howard Cozart's knowledge and enthusiasm for this method of preservation made it a fun and fascinating time. Some of us brought various foods to vacuum pack. We discussed group purchasing a vacuum sealing device.

NEXT MEETING: Sunday, Aug. 28 at Atherton Restoration Branch, 4910 N. Main St., Atherton at 2:00 pm. This is the monthly general meeting. There will be a special presentation by Alan Teel. Alan is a career agricultural agent and teacher with a wide range of expertise including organizing and administering and a passion for Zion. We will learn more about him and his practical plan for food independence. His goals and efforts will hopefully be the backbone of the difficult and vital food-providing methods and cooperatives in Zion.

We try to have a show-and-tell table at every meeting and a bartering table. Use your imagination. Bring something to trade or barter and/or an interesting item. As usual, during the meeting there will be discussion, planning, and hopefully actualization of various areas needed to be independent of Babylon. Always interesting and invigorating! Come visit. Bring your hopes, dreams and questions. Much visiting afterwards.
