Preparation for the Upcoming Elder's Conference
Dear Saints,
The annual conference for the Conference of Restoration Elders is rapidly approaching. Currently I am in East Africa, and I have seen the hand of God working in many marvelous ways yet at the same time my mind is continually drawing back to us gathering together the end of March. The Coordinating Council met last week and have requested us corporately to fast Wednesday morning’s breakfast church wide, beginning next Wednesday, March 1st. We understand that this is insufficient to our individual preparation but request that we join together as touching this one thing during that period of time.
Just as a reminder the conference is March 29th through April 1st. All Priesthood are invited and encouraged to attend. There will be classes and quorum sessions for both Aaronic as well as Melchizedek Priesthood. The Priesthood will have specific time to pray together as a body as well as discussions on specific topics. The women will also be meeting in the afternoons for their classes and discussions.
Since the gathering of the Priesthood at Kirtland this past September, many things have transpired, and we wish for this conference to be a continuation of that worship in spirit and in truth. So again, I plead with you to come in the spirit of humility and repentance seeking the direction from our Lord. I meet with the High Priests after I return from Africa to finalize the schedule after which I will send out an updated program. If you have not done so, please go to The Conference of Restoration Elder’s website https://www.eldersconference.org/ to register so we can plan for binders, lunch, etc. accordingly.
