About Our Father's Business
Hello, Initiative and Unity Center Friends,
God is lifting the hearts of his people to a new level of action. That performance requires knowledge and collaboration.
In this verse I address the essential element of knowledge. To live a life of fruitful faith, knowledge of the roots of and solutions to our societal problems is essential. Knowledge is part of the whole package of behavior for a believer/servant/saint. We are admonished to study not only the Word of God, but also all good books and connect with people of knowledge and wisdom.
Offered here are two short YouTube video clips to bring hope and encouragement. God is moving in great and marvelous ways in his sons and daughters, individually and collectively. He wants to mobilize us all to action to preserve life, advocate for our maltreated children, set the drug addict and all people free, and bring forth His Kingdom here in this city.
Type into Youtube Videos these two titles: ELEVATE Branson 10 11 2021, and 1018 Strategy Katie Fetzer 10 3 2021. The ELEVATE Branson clip is an interview Bruce and I had with Matt Grindstaff, V.P over Strategic Partnerships, on October 11th. Katie Fetzer, founder/CEO of non-profit 1018 Strategy spoke at our S. Main Street Neighborhood Block Party.
Be encouraged! What is happening with ELEVATE Branson, and with women like Katie Fetzer standing up and calling out evil in this nation, can happen, will happen, and is happening here in Independence. I urge you to watch these videos and engage in collaboratively strategizing with the Holy Spirit for solutions to our myriad problems. I encourage you to engage fully with the Independence Is Alive and Well Initiative (IIAW) and lend support. God has the answers. God is calling all believers into action, ranking us up to the next level of commitment. It will take all of us working together with Him to conquer our problems. And in this process we will have unity. Only the Two Great Commandments are our unifying force. Love God and Love People. It is that simple.
Loving our neighbors is not something we do occasionally when we are face to face with a homeless Beloved, or a tired young mother in tears, or helping a widow load groceries. Loving our neighbors must be front and center in our thoughts continually, intentionally, sacrificially, and Divinely Focused, Our neighbors, as with our families, will be the first thing on our hearts when we rise and the last thing we think about before we sleep. We must corporately plan and execute deliverance, in big and small ways, for when we are meeting the needs of our neighbors we are serving our God. God's work is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Our work is to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Father, thank you for bringing us all together to joyfully do Your Business.
