Prayer for S. Main Street Neighborhood
Please pray for South Main Street Neighborhood. A school building, which housed the Independence Health Department until it closed two years ago, is going up for auction this Friday, October 8th through November 8th. It would make wonderful senior housing or a community center for S. Main Street. In August, we stopped a company from getting a special use permit to make it a 24/7 drug rehab facility. There is a chance something like that could happen again, which would jeopardize the whole neighborhood. We are seeking God's will for S. Main Street, for investors willing to purchase the building, who are mindful of the needs and wellbeing of S. Main and the entire Independence community.
