Kingdom Journey Fundraiser
It is that time of year again. No, not pumpkin spice latte season. BURRITO SEASON!!! Kingdom Journey Tribe 1 from South Crysler Restoration Branch is holding its annual Burrito Fundraiser. This is our primary source of funding and not only supports the program at South Crysler but also benefits the other tribes through continued development of the program. Kingdom Journey is an organization committed to the development of future leaders and priesthood of Christ's Church. We hold weekly meetings at South Crysler (Monday's at 7pm) and ten to eleven overnights a year. Camping and outdoor activities are a staple of the program. Most overnights include a Sunday morning worship service with a message brought by one of the leaders who holds a priesthood office.
The burritos we sell for the fundraiser are a delicious and easy meal that we make ourselves. There are five different types of burritos, a variety pack, fresh salsa, and a dessert called the Apple Chimi. All items except the salsa are sold in 5 packs with the variety pack having one of each burrito. Gluten free wraps are available to substitute instead of flour tortillas.
Burritos:
Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs, Turkey Bacon, and Cheese
Mountain Man (dairy free) - Scrambled Eggs, Ground Beef Sausage, and Potatoes
Standard - Ground Beef, Homemade Refried Beans, and Cheese
Southwestern - Steak, Potatoes, and Cheese
Vegetarian - Homemade Refried Beans, Mild Green Chilis, and Cheese
