THANK YOU PRAYER WARRIORS…

“The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26-27)

America

Hofsommer Family & all who are in the path of Hurricane Ida. Ida's winds are 150 mph sustained & 170 mph gusts. Eric Hofsommer will be out in it with the fire department.

Billy & Tammy Roberts- Sick with Covid.

Judi & Doug Smith- Missionaries in Kenya. Judy was severely injured in an automobile crash.

Troy Turner, mother Sally & father- Troy recovered from the Covid & flew from Louisiana to be with his parents in Ohio yesterday. Sally is in Hospice Care with Alzheimer’s & weighs 60 lbs.

Timothy and Tonia Francis—Both sets of their parents, and many members of their family, children grandchildren, sisters and brothers all have Covid. So far no one has had to be hospitalized. All were vaccinated so it is a mystery to them why they are sick. Thankfully, some of their family has not been affected and are bringing food and supplies to the rest of the family and some friends. Please, pray that the healthy ones can stay healthy and continue providing food and supplies, and that Jesus is always first in their lives.

Reba Braun—Received results from her heart monitor. Biggest concern was what showed up at 2:00 a.m.. Doctor wants her to see a specialist to see if pacemaker is needed. She is asking for prayers that God will heal her heart.

Alta McCann—Very confused and disoriented as of yesterday, and may have had a mini-stroke. No one was around to help her.

Alan Ream & Family—Recovering from Covid-19. Please keep Grandma Shari and Grandson Wyatt in your prayers as they did not get the virus while all others in the family did.

Barbra Vernes -- Survivor of Legionnaires' disease four years ago now has Covid pneumonia. She is in the hospital in the prone position. Her taste and smell has returned which makes it easier for her to swallow a bit of food and water. She is making amends with God after being very angry with him for taking her son from this earth in a drug overdose. Covid has been a blessing to her in bringing her back to the arms of Christ Jesus. Barbra is a lovely woman that is there for everyone in their time of need. Please, pray for her continued recovery spiritually and physically.

Lisa Rottenberger (Reba’s niece)—Going for a double mastectomy September 1st and reconstructive surgery. Once they do the surgery she will learn if chemo and radiation is necessary.

Todd Pollard—Retired Lieutenant Colonel was perfectly healthy and his work insisted he and his family get vaccinated or he would be denied health insurance which his wife desperately needs. He was then told he could not keep his job if not vaccinated, so he took the vaccine and now he is deathly ill.

Stephen Keranen—Pray that he may find work of any kind that does not require a mask. He has a medical exemption but has still not been able to find employment unless he wears a mask. Wearing a mask makes his heart rate goes up to dangerous levels. His doctor warned that he cannot take his asthma medication when this happens, and because he has asthma he is medically exempt from the mask. Thankfully he had a good savings account when all this started over a year ago. His funds have now been depleted and he needs a miracle to find a job to support himself. He never qualified for unemployment because of his mask issue. This young man is a hard worker and wants to work. He has done odd jobs but it is no longer enough to meet the basic cost of living bills without his savings. Please, pray that God will open the doors for Stephen that will glorify God and so Stephen can continue pay his own way.

Midge Enoch—Recovering from surgery for a broken hip.

UPDATE: Released early from Rehab! So very thankful for prayers. Still having issues with anemia. Doctors are unable to determine cause.

Tim Raffety—Hospitalized with Covid. Please pray for wisdom for those caring for him, and that his memory and cognitive processes be restored.

Kelly Watson & family—His 85-year old mother is physically deteriorating. Recently suffered from C-diff in hospital, but is now home with her family trying to take care of her. Many decisions must soon be made about her continuance of care.

Dennis Moe— Left side of his larynx does not work, and they have found a large mass in his left lung. His energy is continuing to fade but he is still keeping up with the farm. His family doctor is working with his ENT doctor. Dennis remains upbeat no matter what and continues to insist “the best is yet to come.”

Robin Corley-- Hurt the thoracic area of her back while digging up oak tree saplings and mulching. Symptoms in the middle of her chest. Please pray for her recovery and healing.

Richard Shapland (brother of Debra who is blind)—Please pray for his many health issues and that he can get used to his new caregiver.

UPDATE: Richard’s surgery for the stretching of his throat scheduled for Wednesday if he tests negative for Covid.

Mike Dillon—Upcoming stent surgery. He has a pacemaker and is a severe diabetic with amputated leg. Please keep his wife in your prayers also, who is his caregiver.

UPDATE: Just tested positive for Covid so stent surgery was cancelled.

Vera Gray—For restored vision after complicated glaucoma surgery, and healing from complications with GERD.

Amy Wolfteich & family—Multiple issues including health issues and depression. Also brother-in-law in Massachusetts who is hospitalized for possible brain bleed. Friend Kay has still not passed away, so please continue praying for her peaceful passing.

UPDATE: Aidan has now been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos, Sjogrens, Gilberts disease, postural orthostatic tachycardia, and mitochondrial disease. Jacob's depression is no better, and the doctor just put Amy on an anti-depressants. She feels her faith is being tested to the extreme.

God’s other creatures need prayers too…

“O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” (Psalm 65:2) “The beasts of the field cry also unto thee” (Joel 1:20)

Marcy—13 year old cat in stage 3 kidney failure. The vet put her on a special kidney diet for the next month and she will go back to the vet on Sep 9th for lab work to see if there’s any change in her kidneys. She was Cheryl’s mother’s kitty (Cheryl took care of her mom and dad for many years). Cheryl inherited Marcy when her Mom passed away so this will be a great loss if Marcy doesn’t survive this.

Prayers answered, but please keep them in thoughts and continual prayers

“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 4:2)
